Who Qualifies


The members of NAFCOC are the subcribed and Affiliated to Sectoral Constituencies, organised sectoral based Provincial structures ans any other Organised Business Formation, Bodies as well as Associations admitted in accordance with the NAFCOC consitution.

1. The new NAFCOC Membership form is divided into categories viz:

- Affiliated Sectoral / Individual members and companies
- Corporate members / companies
- Honorary members

(The membership fee FOR ALL CATEGORIES is renewable each year.)

1.1 Individual / Affiliated Sectoral Members

These members shall be ADMITTED to membership and be entered in the Province Sectoral members' register data of which will be transfered to the National Office Membership Register on a quaterly basis.The MEMBERSHIP OF NAFCOC IS ONGONG - i.e. there is no limitation on membership Everybody is expected to renew memberhip on an annual basis. NAFCOC National Office Memebership Department will send "REMINDER/S" two months prior ot the various membership expiry dates. Please note: there is a grace period of sixty (60) days after the expiry period after which period membership will then be terminated without any further notice.
The fee is R500 per year. For ordinary members in each sector

1.2 Corporate Membership is also divided into four (4) categories viz:

This category is has got publicity and can also partake in the NAFCOC policy-making; can also be part of NAFCOC delegations / representations (both local & abroad). The turn-over should be from R35m and above.

1.2.3 Silver Corporate Members

This category does not have much publicity but can also partake in the NAFCOC activities i.e. Summits / Conferences etc. can also interact with NAFCOC various structures. Their turnover is from R20m and above per year.

1.2.4 Small Enterprise

This category comprises of small business that want to make special contribution to NAFCOC.

1.2.5 Honorary Members

They still fill in the membership forms, but the council has to confer their Honorary membership, after which membership department shall advise them accordingly. This category is free. The membership department shall submit the list of honorary members application through to the Federal Council. The outcome of the applications will be conmmunicated to the honorary members directly.

Members should note that there is a probationary period of twelve months before they can be voted to any NAFCOC office. Membership benefits are not transferrable to non-NAFCOC affiliated members.
